$boar

Where the fee goes, in the open.

$boar is the community token of the BOAR project. The app is free and open source, and you never need the token to use it. This page shows where the token's trading fee goes today, what the team plans to do with it, and what it will not do.

The plan has two parts. Part A rolls out step by step during the bounty, until 31 Oct. Part B is the online side, where the token gets its uses, and starts after the bounty is decided. The app stays free and offline in both.

$boar tokenomics in one minute: the free offline app, the fee, the two halves of the split, and the online side. A draft of plans, not an announcement.

    The token

Fixed supply. One fee. No team allocation.

$boar launched through Clanker on Base. Every token went into the trading pool at launch: no team allocation, no vault, no airdrop. The only income the token creates is a 1% fee on swaps in its main pool, and that fee is the only way the project has ever received $boar.

    What it is for

Today $boar does nothing inside the app.

We'd rather say it plainly. $boar gives you no access, no share of the fee and no vote today. It is the BOAR project's community token, and the 1% fee on its trades is what pays the project's Safe. The app is free and never needs it.

BOAR will always be free and work offline, with no token, account or wallet. The token belongs to BOAR's optional online side: answers from decentralized AI networks when you choose to go online, a market for knowledge packs, staking behind the people who make them, locking $boar for a share of the fee, and a say in what gets funded. Part A and part B below show how. Each one is a plan until it ships, and this page marks it when it does.

Where the project's $boar comes from

Every $boar we hold came from the fee.

The team got no tokens at launch. When someone sells $boar, part of the 1% fee is paid in $boar. Clanker's fee locker pays that fee out: for the first day to the wallet that launched the token, and since 29 September straight to the BOAR Safe, the project's multisig: 3 of its 5 signers have to approve anything it does. That fee is the only way the project has ever received $boar.

They belong to the project and will be locked for 12 months in a public vesting contract, together with the treasury lock.

The burned billion is 1% of the supply and about a seventh of all the fee $boar paid out. Read on Base on 2026-10-10: transfers of $boar from Clanker's fee locker (0xF362…5D68) to the launch wallet and to the Safe, the Safe's and 0xbad1…8689's balances, and the burn address.

    The plan

Part A now, part B after the bounty.

We are rolling this out over time, in the open. Part A happens during the bounty, one step at a time, without touching the app. Part B needs changes to the app and new contracts, so it waits until bounty #31 is decided.

    Part A · until 31 Oct 2026

Step by step, outside the app

The fee goes to the Safe, then back to the token. Eight steps, all on-chain and on this site, listed just below. The app does not change and keeps working with no network, as the bounty asks.

    Part B · after poidh bounty #31

    The online side

    • Online answers through decentralized AI (Venice, Morpheus, Mordiem), paid in $boar or USDC.
    • Knowledge packs sold in USDC: to people in the app, and to AI agents over x402. A fixed share buys $boar.
    • Staking behind pack makers, as a quality bond.
    • Lock $boar in an NFT or provide liquidity, and receive a share of the fee in WETH.
    • Holders steer the community budget.
    • Anonymous pack payments, once a zero-knowledge rail exists on Base.

Part A, step by step: the fee goes to the Safe, then back to the token.

    1. Swaps pay a 1% fee Live

Buys pay it in WETH, sells pay it in $boar. It goes to the BOAR Safe, a 3-of-5 multisig.

    2. Fee settings under the Safe Part A

The fee's settings sit with the BOAR Safe, next to the treasury, so where the fee goes is decided by 3 of the Safe's 5 signers.

    3. Fee $boar is never sold Part A

The fee keeps coming in both currencies. A small contract under the Safe sends the WETH to the split and the $boar to a public lock and the community treasury, so the fee never sells $boar into the pool.

    4. A public split in front of the Safe Part A

A 0xSplits contract controlled by the Safe, so anyone can see each share and trigger the payout.

    5. Buyback, a little at a time Part A

One share buys $boar back from the pool in small slices. What comes back is staked first and burned later, each step with its transaction in the ledger.

    6. A fund for knowledge Part A

Another share pays for hosting and mirroring the knowledge packs the app downloads. The rest covers builds, test devices and running the project.

    7. A public ledger Part A

Every claim, buyback, burn and payment listed here with its date and transaction, with fee income and product income (packs and online answers) in separate lines. A bot claims from the fee locker on a fixed schedule.

    8. Lock what the project holds Part A

3 of the Safe's ~4.95 billion $boar and the 1.05 billion in the project's fomo wallet, locked for 12 months in a public vesting contract.

Where the $boar fee goes Swaps on the $boar pool pay a 1% fee, in WETH and $boar. The fee goes to the BOAR Safe today; a public split in front of it is part A. Part A · what we are delivering by 31 Oct

The work comes first. These are the targets.

Until poidh bounty #31 is decided, the roadmap converges on one thing: an offline research tool that is useful and reproducible on real phones. These are the targets the team published, not results already reached.

Targets published by the team on X; the bounty's own criteria are on poidh. 31 October is the date set in the bounty's rules for a decision. It is a milestone, not a promise of a prize: BOAR is claim #124 and the bounty is still open. Results go on /results as they are measured, with the phone and the date.

Part A · the proposed shares

WETH pays the work. $boar leaves the market.

The fee arrives in two currencies, and each one has its own job. The WETH half pays the people and the costs, and buys $boar back. The $boar half is never sold: half of it is locked, to be burned when the community votes for it, and the rest goes to the community and to contributors, released slowly.

    The team never sells $boar

An empty share goes to the burn

If nobody has locked $boar in the NFT vault or the liquidity stake yet, that share goes to buyback and burn, never back to the team.

    Anyone can trigger it

The split is a public 0xSplits contract under the Safe. Anyone can see each share and trigger the payout.

Part B · the online side

Free and offline, always. Online is where $boar lives.

BOAR has two sides, and the line between them doesn't move. The app on your phone stays free, open source and works after one download with no signal. Going online is a choice you make in the app, for the things a phone can't do alone, and that is where the token gets its uses.

    Part B · online answers · proposal

$boar opens the door to decentralized AI.

Some questions need a bigger model than a phone can run. When you choose to go online, BOAR sends that question to decentralized AI networks instead of a single company's servers: Venice, Morpheus and Mordiem. You see what leaves the phone before it leaves, and the offline app keeps working the same way. The treasury pays for this capacity by staking, not by spending, and sells what BOAR doesn't use.

How online answers would work You switch to online mode and pay for credits priced in dollars, with $boar or USDC. The BOAR gateway routes each question to Venice, Morpheus or Mordiem, and the answer comes back to the phone. The treasury stakes capital in those networks to get inference capacity, without spending it. The margin after provider costs is split: 50% buys $boar and burns it, 30% operations and reserve, 20% the knowledge fund. answer margin staked, not spent You, in online modeoptional · one switch Credits in dollarspay with $boar or USDC BOAR online gatewayroutes each question VeniceVVV → DIEM MorpheusMOR → compute Mordiemcapital → MDM BOAR Safe capitalpart of the treasury Buy + burn50% · $boar Ops + reserve30% Knowledgefund · 20%
Blue dashed: part B, a proposal. Green: the Safe, live today. Orange: capital the team would stake.
    1. Credits priced in dollars Part B

Online answers cost a small amount in dollars. People pay in the app with $boar or USDC; AI agents can pay per request over x402. Nobody needs to hold $boar, and the price doesn't move with the token.

    2. Paying with $boar Part B

$boar spent on credits follows the fee's $boar split: 50% locked (burned on a community vote), 35% to the community treasury, 15% to contributors over time.

    3. Paying with USDC Part B

On the margin after the provider's cost, 50% buys $boar from the pool and burns it, 30% goes to operations and reserve, 20% to the knowledge fund.

    4. How the margin is measured Part B

Provider cost is what BOAR pays a network for an answer, or the value of the staked credits it used. Margin is the price of the credits minus that cost. Each period's margin and its buy-and-burn are reported in the ledger.

    5. Stake, then use or sell Proposal

The treasury stakes in these networks and gets inference credits back, like DIEM on Venice. BOAR uses them to answer its users and sells what is left over, so the capital stays the project's and earns from inference every day.

Stake, get inference, serve it, sell what's left

The idea underneath the online side: the treasury doesn't pay for AI by the question. It holds a stake in decentralized AI networks, and the stake brings inference credits. BOAR uses them and sells the rest, across every model these networks offer, and the margin from all of them flows to the same split.

    Stake

Part of the treasury goes into the networks: VVV on Venice, MOR on Morpheus, capital on Mordiem. The principal stays the project's.

    Get credits

The stake returns inference capacity: DIEM on Venice (a daily allowance of AI use), compute access on Morpheus, and Mordiem's equivalent.

    Serve

BOAR's online answers run on those credits: people in the app, and AI agents paying per request over x402.

    Sell the rest

Unused capacity is sold to agents over x402, or the credits themselves are sold where they trade. Nothing sits idle.

How each network issues credits and whether they can be resold is being confirmed with each one. No partnership is announced.

Part B · after the bounty

A market for knowledge packs, where use buys the token.

The plan for after bounty #31: packs made by people who know a place or a subject, sold for a few dollars in USDC, downloaded once and used offline. The same packs are open to two kinds of buyers: people, in the app, and AI agents, over x402. Paying for a pack needs the internet once, which is why this waits until the bounty is decided.

The planned knowledge pack market A person pays for a pack in USDC in the app, or an AI agent pays over x402. Most of the price goes to the pack's maker. A fixed protocol share is split in code: part buys $boar from the pool, part rewards people who staked behind that maker, part goes to the knowledge fund. A person or an agentUSDC · app or x402 Pack salepaid once, used offline Pack maker80% of the price Protocol share20%, in code Buys $boar40% · burned Fund + ops20% Stakers40% bond, slashed on bad packs use → $boar
    1. Prices in dollars Part B

A pack costs a fixed amount in USDC. People buy it in the app, paying in USDC. AI agents buy the same packs over x402, the web's pay-per-request standard, with no account and no checkout. Nobody needs to hold $boar to buy one.

    2. A fixed share buys $boar Part B

The maker gets 80% of the price and the protocol keeps 20%, split in code: 40% buys $boar from the pool and burns it, 40% pays the people who staked behind that maker, 20% goes to the knowledge fund and operations. This is the link where real use of the app meets the token.

    3. Staking as a quality bond Part B

People can stake $boar behind a pack maker, with a minimum set in dollars. Rewards come only from that maker's real sales, weighted by distinct buyers, so buying your own packs never pays. A pack that breaks its license or gets the facts wrong can lose part of the stake. Stake also boosts a pack's visibility in the market, so backing a good pack helps people find it.

    4. New packs are checked first Part B

A new pack's earnings wait in escrow until a reviewer approves it.

Part B · after the bounty

Lock $boar, earn from the fee.

Two ways to take $boar off the market and get paid in WETH for it, both from the WETH half of the fee. Rewards come from real fees, never from new tokens.

    NFT vault Part B

Lock $boar inside an NFT. The vault's 12% of the WETH fee is shared by NFT and by time locked. Selling the NFT moves the locked $boar with it.

    Liquidity stake Part B

Lock a full-range ETH/$boar position and share 8% of the WETH fee. Deeper liquidity means each big trade moves the price less.

Contributors, paid over time Part B

15% of the fee's $boar pays verified work (benchmarks on real phones, GitHub and poidh bounties, user tasks), released slowly. Earning never requires buying $boar.

Rewards for locking need a legal opinion before they start. Until someone locks, those shares go to buyback and burn.

Part B · a proposal for after the bounty

Holders guide the funding. SOPA Lab verifies.

One idea for part B is to give the community a say in what the project's budget pays for, while the people who maintain the software keep the technical responsibility. This is a proposal, not something that exists today.

    Community and holders

    Decide what gets funded

    • Propose areas of work.
    • Choose which bounties are eligible.
    • Allocate the community treasury: 35% of the fee's $boar, released slowly.
    • Follow every delivery and payment.
    SOPA Lab

    Keep the work honest

    • Set the acceptance criteria.
    • Verify benchmarks and deliveries.
    • Control merges and releases.
    • Publish each decision and why.
The team, paid in the open

If a share of the fee goes to the people building BOAR, the percentage, the recipients and how long it lasts are published before it starts.

    Work before reward

Earning by contributing never requires buying $boar. A vote doesn't replace verification, and it can't promise a merge.

    Knowledge stays open

Funding helps make and maintain knowledge packs. Access to knowledge never depends on holding the token.

    Part B · further out

Pay for knowledge without being known.

Some knowledge is sensitive to ask for: health, legal trouble, where you are. The plan is to let people pay once into a vault and then download packs with zero-knowledge proofs, so no purchase can be tied back to the person.

This depends on a zero-knowledge payment system being available on Base. The one we would use, zkAPI, runs only on Ethereum mainnet as of 2026-10-01. The share that buys $boar works the same as in the market above.

Anonymous pack payments: deposit once, then each download spends a one-time proof Depositonce, in USDC A note only you spendyour balance, unlinkable Each downloadspends a one-time proof Offlineafter that

    The honest question

If you can pay in USDC, why hold $boar?

You don't have to, and the plan doesn't depend on forcing anyone. People who pay in USDC still buy $boar through the protocol's share of every sale. Holding has its own reasons, and each one is paid from real income, never from new tokens:

Lock it, share the fee Part B

The NFT vault and the liquidity stake share part of the fee, paid in WETH.

Back a pack maker Part B

A quality bond that boosts the pack, shares that maker's real sales, and can be slashed if a pack breaks the rules.

    Steer the budget Proposal

A say in which bounties and areas of work the community treasury funds.

    Spend it online Part B

Pay for online answers at the dollar price; half of what you spend is locked.

None of this is a promise of value. How much it adds up to depends on how many people pay for packs and online answers, and once the plan ships, a public dashboard will show it every month.

    Rules

    What we hold ourselves to

    Real income buys the token

Buybacks are paid with the fee and, later, real sales, in code and at a steady pace, announced before they start and listed with each transaction. Never to hold up a price.

    Everything public, each thing labelled

Fees received, buybacks, payments, tokens held, given out or burned are different things. Each is listed separately with its date, amount and transaction, on a page anyone can check against the chain.

    Dollars, not token counts

Prices and stake minimums in dollars, so they do not collapse when the token moves.

    Only what exists

We describe plans as plans until they ship. No price talk, no promised returns.

    7 days' notice

Any change to a share is announced 7 days before it takes effect, and written on-chain. No surprise changes.

    Offline stays free

The app on the phone never needs the token. The token takes part online; the product comes first.

    What we will not do

    • Buy $boar to defend a price, trade it with ourselves, or pay anyone to promote it.
    • Transfer taxes paid out as rewards: they sell the token on its own chart.
    • Access gated by holding a fixed number of tokens.
    • Yield paid with newly minted tokens, points or farming.
    • Payouts through off-chain accounts that can fail silently.
    • A fee wallet controlled by an AI agent or a single key that changes the rules.
    • Put the token inside the app before the bounty is decided.
    • Buybacks that deliver tokens to a founder's wallet.
    • Games, betting or renaming the token: noise that costs trust.

    Questions

    Straight answers

    Does $boar have a utility?

Not today. It is the project's community token and its fee funds the project. The plan gives it uses on BOAR's online side: paying for online answers, the knowledge market, staking, locking for a share of the fee and steering the community budget. Each piece is a plan until it ships.

Will the app ever need the token?

No. The offline app stays free, with no token, account or wallet. Online mode is optional, and even there you can pay with USDC without holding $boar.

What do Venice, Morpheus and Mordiem have to do with BOAR?

They are decentralized AI networks we plan to route online answers through, so a question that leaves the phone doesn't go to a single company. Nothing is live yet and no partnership is announced. This page will say when that changes.

Does the team hold $boar? Will it sell?

The team got none at launch. The project's $boar all came from the fee: what the BOAR Safe holds, and the 1.05 billion in the project's fomo wallet. Both are locked for 12 months in a public vesting contract, and none of it is sold.

    Which links are official?

The contract 0x0cbf291Ba052174879d90bf781dF1A5F2BC5Bb07 on Base, boarapp.com, @boar_app on X, the docs and the code on GitHub.

Do I need $boar to use the app?

No. The app is free and works without the token, an account or a wallet. That doesn't change in part A or part B.

Does a buyback mean the price goes up?

No one can promise that. A buyback adds demand, but tokens that are given out can go back to the market, and funding contributions is not the same as burning supply.

Is all of this working already?

No. The fee and the Safe are live; everything marked part A rolls out step by step until 31 October, and part B, the online side and the governance proposal, comes after the bounty. Each step will be marked here when it ships.

    Where can I check it?

The BOAR Safe, the code on GitHub and the bounty's criteria. Test results and money movements each need their own evidence, and this page will link it.

    The fine print

$boar is the community token of the BOAR project. It is not an investment, and nothing on this page is a promise of value or return. The BOAR app is free, MIT-licensed, and works without the token, an account or a wallet. Part A and part B can change; this page will say when they do, and when each step ships.
